A story about an elf who’s annual task is to collect the candleberries from a particular bush in an old couple’s backyard. The elf then boils the berries and turns their wax into candles which are lit for solstice. One solstice evening, however, the elf realizes that the old couple need help and the elf then learns a story of community and mutual support.

A story about a sweep who is initially frustrated at a woman for not properly paying her, that is, until he finds out the truth. The story shows the power of pausing, being curious, and ultimately empathizing with someone you may have judged. It is a story of gratitude and forgiveness.
